Taco Bean Soup!

Alright I thought I'd post this recipe - since I whipped it up today and am enjoying it right now. I modified a recipe I found in a cookbook I got for a wedding present and I can see myself modifying it even more.

1 1/2 lbs ground beef (I actually used three pounds and my really big crock pot)
2 medium onions, chopped
1 pkg taco seasoning (I omitted this)
1pkg Hidden Valley Ranch mix (I added 2)
1 (14oz) can of diced tomatoes (I used the diced tomatoes with jalepenos in them)
1 can of pinto beans
1 can of black beans
1 can of kidney beans
1 can of navy beans
1 can of whole kernel corn
1/2 cup of water

Brown the ground beef and onion in skillet, drain, place in crockpot. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer in crockpot for 6-8 hours. Serve with corn chips.

Easy, affordable and very tasty. I also added about half a jar of my homemade salsa. I am not a big bean eater (if they aren't baked beans) and I am loving this. Warm, hearty and very yummy. Break out the hot sauce!
